MEZCAL SOUR
INGREDIENTS
2 oz (60 ml) Mezcal (Recommend Mezcal Jiménez 1933),
¾ oz (22 ml) 1933 Simple Syrup
¾ oz (22 ml) 1933 Simple Syrup
½ oz (15 ml) Fresh Lemon Juice
1 oz (30 ml) Fresh Egg White
3-4 Dashes of Angostura Bitters
Ice
INSTRUCTIONS
In a cocktail shaker add the Mezcal Jiménez 1933, egg white, fresh lemon juice, 1933 Simple Syrup, and dry shake everything together for 10-11 seconds. Next, add ice to the shaker and shake everything vigorously for another 10-11 seconds. Add a large block of ice to an old-fashion glass and single strain the cocktail into it. Lastly, add 3-4 dashes of Angostura Bitters and garnish with a lime peel, enjoy.
