Gin & Ginger Julep

INGREDIENTS:
2 oz (60ml) Gin,
½ oz (15ml) 1933 Ginger Simple Syrup,
1 oz (30ml) Fresh Ginger,
6-7 Fresh Mint Leaves,
Sparkling Water,
Crushed Ice.

BAR TOOLS:

Cocktail Shaker,
Jigger,
Julep Cup,
Cocktail Strainer,
Muddler,

INSTRUCTIONS:

In a cocktail shaker add the fresh mint leaves and fresh Ginger, muddle them together. Next, add the Gin, 1933 Ginger Simple Syrup, and ice, shake everything for 10-15 seconds. Lastly, add some crushed ice to a julep cup and double strain the cocktail into it. Top off with sparkling water and garnish with a fresh sprig of mint.
