
MINT JULEP
INGREDIENTS:
2 oz (60ml) Bourbon,
½ oz (15ml) 1933 Mint Simple Syrup,
½ oz (15ml) 1933 Mint Simple Syrup,
1 oz (30 ml) Water,
8-10 Fresh Mint Leaves,
2-3 Drops of Orange Bitters,
Sprig of Mint,
Crushed Ice.
BAR TOOLS:
Cocktail Shaker,
Jigger,
Jigger,
Mint Julep Cup or Rocks Glass,
Bar Spoon,
Muddler,
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a cocktail shaker add the mint leaves and muddle them together. Next, add the Bourbon, 1933 Mint Simple Syrup, water, 3-2 Orange bitters, and ice, shake everything for 10-15 seconds. Lastly, fill up a Mint Julep Cup or rocks glass with crushed ice, pour the cocktail into it and top off with more crushed ice. Garnish with a small sprig of mint and enjoy.
